Lip Reconstruction After Skin Cancer

This 34 year-old female was diagnosed with a wide basal cell carcinoma of the center portion of the upper lip. After Mohs Surgery to resect the tumor, she was left with a substantial defect of the lip involving both the lip skin and the pink, mucosal surface. Multiple reconstructive flap procedures were performed to restore contour. Results are shown at 1 year.
