Browlift, Upper & Lower Blepharoplasty, Deep Plane Facelift, Neck Lift, & Fat Transfer
This 58-year-old woman was very unhappy with the appearance of her eyes, face and neck after an 80 lb. weight loss. She felt that after her weight loss, her face looked worse. This included her neck, brow and eyes. This is an example of how facial fat is important to address for facial rejuvenation. During a single operative session, she underwent sliding browlift, upper and lower blepharoplasty and deep plane full face, cheek and neck lift. During an extended deep plane facelift, the deeper muscle is suspended so that the tension does not “hang” on the skin and look overdone. In order to restore the natural youthful curvature of the cheek, fat transfer from the abdomen was precisely positioned throughout the eyes, cheeks, and facial folds. Her result is pictured at 1 year, showing excellent longevity of the fat transfer and surgical techniques.
