This 38 year-old female sustained a laceration near her left nostril several years ago. The underlying scarring caused her nostrils to become distorted. In addition, she did not like the appearance of her nose pointing toward her right side and the appearance of a “boxy” nasal tip. A cosmetic rhinoplasty was performed in order to straighten the nose and achieve facial balance. In addition, several cartilage grafts were used along the nasal tip and nostrils to reinforce the nasal shape and prevent collapse with scarring. Her postoperative photo is shown at 1 year.
