Cosmetic Nose (Rhinoplasty)

This 20-year-old female suffered a nasal fracture many years ago as a child. She found it very difficult to breathe through her nose, experiencing chronic stuffiness and nasal dripping. In addition, she did not like the appearance of her nose. Viewing her nose from the bottom (i.e. worm’s eye view), there was much asymmetry. Several procedures to improve her breathing were performed (septoplasty and inferior turbinectomy). In addition, a cosmetic rhinoplasty was performed to completely reshape her nasal profile to match her facial proportion. Her postoperative photo is shown at 1 year.
