Sliding Browlift, Upper Blepharoplasty
This 57 year old female was unhappy with the appearance of her eyes and brow. She felt that the “heaviness” of her lids made her look tired. She wanted a very subtle change with nothing looking over-dramatic or “pulled”. A subcutaneous or “sliding” browlift was performed. This technique resets the brow skin position in a very safe way, without risk of damage to the nerves of the face. It also has minimal downtime. In addition to the browlift, she requested upper eyelid skin removal. A browlift can also soften the muscles between the eyebrows to create less wrinkles. The result at 1 year shows a much more youthful appearing brow position and an improvement in the defined crease in the upper eyelid.
