Cosmetic Ear (Otoplasty)

This 30 year-old gentleman was unhappy with the appearance of his ears. They were always very prominent and he decided for most of his life to tuck his ears into a baseball cap. The appearance always made him very self-conscious. A cosmetic otoplasty was performed to reshape the outer cartilage to create a more proportionate ear. Postoperative result at 2 years shows a natural correction, allowing him to go hatless.
