Breast Reduction for Men (Gynecomastia)

This 44 year-old male athlete was very displeased with the appearance of his lower chest and nipples. Having recently started on testosterone for hormone supplementation, he developed some breast tissue and fatty deposition behind his nipple area. This gynecomastia was treated successfully with a combination of direct excision and liposuction, leaving minimal scarring behind. Postoperative result at 1 year shows excellent definition of the pectoralis muscle with no deformity.
