Minilift
This 68 year-old woman was displeased with some signs of lower facial aging, having had a previous facelift 15 years earlier by another surgeon. She desired a “touch-up” facial rejuvenation but did not want general anesthesia or an extended recovery time. A minilift (also known as a cheeklift or short-scar facelift) concentrates on the lower facial areas and avoids a scar which travels behind the ear. It can be safely performed in the office under local anesthesia. Six months following her procedure, the lower facial lines are significantly improved.
