Minilift

This 63 year-old woman was displeased with some signs of lower facial aging. Specifically, she felt her jowls and marionette lines were very prominent. She desired facial rejuvenation but did not want general anesthesia or an extended recovery time. A minilift (also known as a cheeklift or short-scar facelift) concentrates on the lower facial areas and avoids a scar which travels behind the ear. It can be safely performed in the office under local anesthesia. Six months following her procedure, the lower facial and neck lines are significantly improved.
